Dumeril's boa - propagation

In the past, Dumeril boas have been exported from Madagascar in great numbers. There have been restriction put on their trade since,
and basically all of the Dumeril's boas available now on the market are captive bred.
The Dumeril's boas are listed as 'vulnerable' by the IUCN, and listed in the Appendix I on CITES,
which puts strict limits on its exportation from Madagascar.
Dumeril's boas are one of the species which have been aggressively in-bred in captivity.
This resulted in some of their lines to have increased susceptibility to respiratory infections, and some
individuals don’t reach expected adult size.
